Diego Lechuga is an interdisciplinary artist and designer born and raised in Mexico City. In 2021, he graduated from SAIC’s Art & Technology program. He designs and creates parting from the assumption that we’ve reached dystopia. His work features a combination of fashion, technology, and art that intends to offer new ways of coping with the contemporary global environment. Currently, Diego works as the studio assistant of Snow Yunxue Fu, a new media artist and NYU professor in the Emerging Media department, while he has an arts in studio practice of his own. Simultaneously, Diego is working on a fashion design capsule centered around innovative sustainable methods of production.
